Run: La Primera 5K/10K Roadrace with FitKidz Mile

Sun Run: La Primera 5K/10K Roadrace with FitKidz Mile serves as the first race in The Running Shop/Mizuno SAR Grand Prix Series for the 10k distance. Participants follow a scenic loop around the Santa Cruz River Path that features gently rolling hills through the Sweetwater Riparian area. The route presents a fresh challenge and departure from the typical out-and-back format. Organizers also provide a FitKidz Mile after most runners have completed the 5k and 10k distances. The race occurs for the third year at the newly named Danny Lopez Park, formerly Christopher Columbus Park.
