Live from Laurel Canyon examines John Lennon and Harry Nilsson’s lost weekend, a stretch of music and mischief that lasted 18 months beginning in summer 1973. The program surveys their separate catalogs, the effects each had on the other’s work, and their joint projects while recounting the stories behind the songs. Brian Chartrand serves as narrator and vocalist with Otto D’Agnolo on vocals and guitar, Todd Chuba on drums, Lamar Gaines on keys, Adam Armijo on electric guitar, and Mario Mendivil on bass.
